Another piece from my forthcoming spoof clickbait collection.

· Post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and every other social media platform you can think of. Something along the lines of “buy my book” and a link, should be enough to get sales in the hundreds, or even thousands.

· If the above advice doesn’t work, just know what the algorithms on certain platforms can be tricky. Assume nobody has seen your post and tag everyone into to it.

· If that still doesn’t work, form a Facebook group and invite everyone, daily. Not joining doesn’t mean they’re not interested. They’re just scatter brains and need reminding.

· Pop up at random times on different social media platforms. Not everyone is online at all hours of the day, so to make sure you reach everyone, you’ll need to be more sporadic.

· If your book sales don’t live up to your expectations, try posting seductive images online. The bigger your pout, the higher the chance of book sales.

· Finally, find out what books your followers are reading and compare yourself to the authors of those books. When they buy and read your masterpiece, they’ll be so impressed, they won’t care it’s doesn’t remotely resemble the authors you mentioned.
